Isn’t May just a wonderful time of year? The weather is finally warming up, flowers are blooming everywhere, and there is so much to see and do. If you are looking for some Memorial Day events in Springfield, Missouri, we have just what you need.
- Lost & Found’s Memorial Event and 5K Run/Walk. This wonderful event honors the memory of service men and women who have gone before us. Many participants choose to run in the memory of their lost loved ones. The event will be held on May 26th at Jordan Valley Park from 5:30-9:00pm.
- Parties at the Park. Every Thursday, head down to Farmers Park here in Springfield for Parties at the Park. There will be live music, lots of food, vendors, and tons of fun. It runs from 5-8pm.
- Farmers Market of the Ozarks. Every Saturday and Wednesday, head down to the Farmers Park Pavilion for fresh produce, locally produced goods, music, and fun. The market is open 8am-1pm on Saturday and 9am-1pm on Wednesday.
- Flogging Molly. If you love traditional Irish music and bit of punk, too, then Flogging Molly is the band you want to hear. They will be playing at the Historic Gillioz Theatre on May 22nd at 8pm.
