Honda has been making a move towards offering more eco-friendly vehicles and the 2019 Honda Insight is looking to join that movement. This hybrid sedan was recently unveiled during the New York International Auto Show, showing off a sleek, sophisticated design that is sure to turn heads.
Considered a premium compact sedan, this vehicle will be positioned between the Accord and Civic in Honda’s lineup. It will be powered by an innovative two-motor hybrid system, netting 151 horsepower and receiving an estimated 55 mpg city fuel-efficiency rating.*
The Insight will be available in three trim levels – LX, EX, and Touring – with standard features like LED daytime running lights, heated side mirrors, push-button start, Bluetooth®, Pandora® Internet Radio, and a folding rear seat. 4G LTE Wi-Fi with a built-in mobile hotspot, SiriusXM® satellite radio, and a ten-speaker premium audio system will also come as available features.
The Insight will be the fifth new electrified Honda vehicle to be introduced over the past year, joining the 2018 Accord Hybrid and the Clarity. It will be built in Greensburg, Indiana, though its battery will be assembled at the Marysville Auto Plant in Ohio.
The 2019 Honda Insight will become available at Don Wessel Honda this summer. Keep this in mind when buying a new car in Springfield, Missouri. Stay tuned for more information!
