Team Honda HRC has quite the impressive racing resume. Teammates Cole Seely and Trey Canard turned in extremely impressive rides on their CRF450R racers at the San Diego Military Appreciation Race. And Team Honda HRC was proud to take home second.
The CRF450R is a top-of-the-line Honda MX bike. It gives the rider optimum convenience and control with choices between three settings (Standard, Smooth, and Aggressive.) To change between settings, the rider simply has to push the handlebar-mounted button, making it an industry-first, efficient mode change.
But it was Seely and Canard who made these bikes shine with strong starts in the 20-lap main events. Seely “set a strong pace, gapping most of the competition before taking the checkered flag in the runner-up spot.” This was his best yet of 2016!
This was all for a good cause, too, because it was for the third annual military appreciation race. This is an event where the industry honors the service and sacrifice of men and women in the armed forces. Honda even decked out their CRF450R’s in custom-designed digital camouflage graphics to show their support.
