Eco-friendly power and family-friendly design are coming together in the all-new 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid. As the first-ever Honda hybrid SUV in the American market, the CR-V Hybrid is shaking up the Honda lineup.
Set to show up on Honda showrooms across the country in early 2020, this CR-V Hybrid will boast a two-motor hybrid system under its hood. These two electric motors will be paired with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine to have a total system output of 212 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque. These numbers make the CR-V Hybrid’s powertrain the most powerful engine option in the 2020 CR-V lineup.
Honda has yet to release EPA-estimated fuel-economy estimates, but it’s thought that this hybrid powertrain will offer an increase of up to 50 percent in city fuel efficiency compared to the standard 1.5-liter turbocharged engine.
Along with its hybrid powertrain, the CR-V Hybrid will also come standard with all-wheel drive, along with the Honda Sensing® suite of safety technologies, which includes a Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™), a Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and a Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS). You can also opt for available features like wireless phone charging and driver-selectable driving modes.
We can’t wait to see you at Don Wessel Honda when the all-new Honda CR-V Hybrid hits roads in early 2020.
