Ready to get excited for St. Patty’s Day celebrations? Now that March is here, the 37th Annual Springfield’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is on its way, featuring local community fun for the whole family. On Saturday, March 18th, the city of Springfield will kick off all things Irish starting at 2:00pm in downtown Springfield on Historic C Street. There will be many delightful visuals, from dancers to floats to great costumes and much more.
The parade isn’t all that you, your family, and your friends have to look forward to, however. After the parade concludes at about 4:0pm, there will be an award ceremony at Patton Alley Pub for the best participants—or you can go to any of the surrounding merchants, bars, and restaurants to enjoy the festivities and sense of togetherness cultivated by the St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
There’s an event schedule on the Springfield’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade website to provide all the information you need about attending, or maybe even registering for the parade to enter one of its many fun contests! Don Wessel Honda takes pride in the community of Springfield and the great people who keep running this fun and festive event year after year.
